Scales Lake Park Trail Work Day
Postponed until April 30th due to rain!
Don’t know how to bench cut but would love to learn?? This is your chance! We will be re-benching the the first part of Goat Trail. If we have enough volunteers it would be great to get an early start on trimming as well.
If you have a Rhino and or transfer shovel feel free to bring them. Pants, safety toe shoes, and gloves are strongly encouraged but not required. The club has a limited number of tools for volunteers. Once again, EMBA will provide drinks and snacks.
Park in lot 3 across from the damn. Overflow parking will be in the back corner by the gravel road.

EMBA jersey sale is live! New deign this year, fits like a tech tee. Get your order in before April 17th. All items will bulk ship; pick up in June (most likely at a group ride, other arrangements can be made).
March Trail Work Day
We will begin framing of the new changing room at SLP. If we get the framing done on Saturday we will paint it on Sunday. It is also that time of the year that we need to remove the extra leaves from the trail. If we get enough volunteers we will have a couple crews out taking care of the leaves. Please plan to join us. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
Trail Day
Here it is! The first trail day of 2023. Our focus this month will be getting the spot ready for a new changing room. We will be moving gravel, setting posts, building concrete forms and some other general cleanup around the area. Some tools will be provided but if you have a shovel and/or wheelbarrow that you wouldn’t mind bringing along, please do. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Park in the gravel lot in the front.
Dont forget, all volunteers will need to pay the gate fee or pickup their annual mountain bike pass to get in.
